The KO’s family organizes a barbecue gathering. YIP KWAI’s old schoolmate invites him to start a singing career in Malaysia but YIP KWAI rejects him for he doesn’t want to leave the KO’s family and friends in Hong Kong. YIP KWAI overhears LAM FAT and YU-CHU’s conversation by accident. The two families don’t really want YIP KWAI to stay with them without any financial contribution... WAI-TING and his wife are worrying about their promotional campaign. LAM FAT goes to buy ginseng but he doesn’t have enough cash. YU-CHU arrives on time to help him. YU-CHU finds that LAM FAT is taking a box back to the pawnshop secretly. When LAM FAT returns home, YU-CHU and YIP KWAI question him.
