Lost in the forest, two orphans find refuge in the abandoned cottage of the ogress Baba Yaga, who is on her way back home. Adapted from the tale of Hansel and Gretel.

The cinematic tale recounts the story of a woman whose husband has left for war. When night comes, she pretends to her child that the shadow projected on a sheet is his father. When the father returns, two years later, the child rejects him, telling him that his father only returns at night.

Gabriel, a shy boy, decides to enlist the services of Eva to help him confront his sexual desires. Although he isn't able to make love with her, their meeting takes an unexpected turn.
