Buster și noua lui trupă au de gând să debuteze într-un nou spectacol pe Crystal Tower Theater, din fermecătorul Redshore City. Lipsit de relații, el și cântăreții lui trebuie să se furișeze în birourile Crystal Entertainment, conduse de nemilosul mogul lup Jimmy Cristal, unde banda propune ideea ridicolă de a distribui leul legendă rock Clay Calloway în spectacolul lor. Buster trebuie să plece în căutarea unui Clay aflat acum în izolare și să îl convingă să se întoarcă pe scenă.

Omorând demonul mistreț, Ashitaka a atras asupra lui un blestem care se vede sub forma unei cicatrice de pe brațul drept, ce se extinde încet.
