The film tells the story of Márcio, a young victim of an express kidnapping. For a mistake in a telephone call, the bad guys negotiate with Bruno, a crossword addicted. Thinking that it is just a joke, he decides to enter the "joke" and ends up surprising the kidnappers.

After a car accident, a couple wait for the rescue and see their love story shake. In 1968, what remains is love and hope for a better future for them and for the country as well.
