Baseado em um mito da Mitologia Grega, o filme conta a história de Jasão, que após retornar para sua casa de uma viagem de 20 anos, deve encontrar o mágico velo de ouro para reconquistar seu trono. Assim, ele escala uma equipe, que inclui o heróico Hércules, para ir atrás do artefato, enfrentando perigos enormes como um gigante feito de bronze.
