As was his usual pattern, Gandy Goose is sleeping. This time he dreams of the story of the princess and the frog and how the frog later turned into a prince into a prince and married the princess.
A Terrytoons cartoon released 20 July 1945. A twisted version of some famous fairy tales! The Wolf introduces himself and explains that he's misunderstood! Red Riding Hood comes along, and the Wolf changes into his zoot suit, grabs Red and makes her do a jive boogie-woogie dance with him! Mighty Mouse sees this, and he clobbers the Wolf. Then the Wolf cross-dresses to impersonate Little Bo Peep, and lures a flock of lambs into his trap. He whips out a gun and makes the sheep take their wool off! Mighty Mouse sees this, and he beats the heck out of the Wolf. The Wolf then tries to get into the Three Little Pigs' house by pretending to be a cowboy. He calls for backup. The Wolves attack the pigs, Mighty Mouse trounces them, and all is well in Cartoonland!

Re-enactment of the famous May 31, 1889 Johnstown, Pennsylvania flood where the dam broke and flooded out an entire town! In this version, the town is occupied by mice and dogs. But Mighty Mouse comes to the rescue after drinking a bottle of "Atomic Energy." He reverses the flood waters and puts everything back where it was. And in this cartoon, he uses magic lightning bolts coming off his hands like Merlin the Magician!

But also along comes the Friendly North Wind, as opposed to the Unfiendly North Wind, who rescues the snowman and reunites him with the bunnies.
A homeless dog comes to a sign offering a home at a farm for a watchdog. He just settles into the doghouse straight from the road. Adorable white bunnies appear, all hauling off the vegetable crops, one by one. Dog captures one of them, lines it up for a General Loan-style execution, but hasn't the heart. Failed at his mission, he quits.(No farmer was ever seen, so nobody even knew he was there to begin with)The rabbits now decide he's one of them, and put some fake bunny ears on him, and he happily joins them.

Gandy Goose is reading a book about Post-War Inventions. Sourpuss doesn't like it one bit, and that night he dreams that he has come to a hall of new inventions. At first he's impressed, but things begin to go wrong with the inventions, and when he finally wakes up, he promptly smashes the book over Goose's head.
Fido, a dumb-but-faithful dog, agrees to kitten-sit while Mother Cat is out of the house but she is barely gone before the high-strung kittens lead poor Fido on a merry chase. Fido ends up in the dog-pound slammer and the kittens manage his escape, only to land him into trouble again. Mama Cat gets home and, unaware of the bad day Fido has gone through, tells him he can have a steady job of minding her kittens.
