רובוקופ, הרובוט-שוטר הכי מוכר בעולם. מרפי הוא שוטר שבאחד הימים נורה ונהרג, בעזרת ניתוח מיוחד ומימון מחברת או.סי.פי השוטר אלכס מרפי קם לחיים אבל כרובוט שוטר - רובוקופ. מעכשיו עליו לעזור בכל צרה שלא תבוא, ולעזור למשטרה לאכוף את החוק בעיר.
