Αλλάζει μεταξύ των ρόλων τού “Κίρα” του σωτήρα και δικαστή των εγκληματιών και τού Λάιτ, τού βοηθητικού και έξυπνου νέου, που βοηθά τον αντίπαλό του, ιδιωτικό ερευνητή L, να πιάσει τον Κίρα.

Όταν ο αστυνομικός πατέρας της και η μητέρα της δολοφονούνται, η νεαρή Σάβα βρίσκεται μόνη στους δρόμους. Εκεί την ανακαλύπτει ένας διεφθαρμένος ντετέκτιβ που προσλαμβάνει άστεγα παιδιά για τις βρώμικες δουλειές του.
