Για την πρώτη επανδρωμένη αποστολή στον Άρη επιλέγονται εξειδικευμένοι αμερικανοί αστροναύτες, οι οποίοι, θα χρειασθεί να στηριχθούν ο ένας στον άλλο, όταν πολύ σοβαρές ζημιές στον επιστημονικό τους εξοπλισμό θα βάλουν τις ζωές τους σε άμεσο κίνδυνο, στην αφιλόξενη επιφάνεια του «κόκκινου πλανήτη» Γιατί, καθώς η ομάδα αποβίβασης εξερευνεί τον νέο πλανήτη, κάνει την πιο τρομακτική κι αναπάντεχη ανακάλυψη: ο Άρης μπορεί να είναι άγονος, δεν είναι όμως... ακατοίκητος.
Θα μπορούσαν να στείλουν ρομπότ, αλλά τελικά έστειλαν Ράμπιντ. Ακολουθήστε την απίθανη ομάδα σε μια θεόμουρλη αποστολή στον Άρη, όπου τίποτα δεν πάει βάσει σχεδίου.

Ο Hulk, πωλείται ως σκλάβος και γίνεται ο πιο επιτυχημένος μονομάχος του πλανήτη, όμως οι ‘ιδιοκτήτες’ του πρόκειται να λάβουν περισσότερα απ’ ότι περίμεναν όταν εκείνος συμμαχεί με τους συμπολεμιστές του.
