When a 12 year old boy with an attitude witnesses a mob killing, the job of protecting him falls to a down-on-his luck cop.

Dr. Paul Sorenson, a noted astronomer, believes that an approaching comet will collide with earth based on his study of an ancient civilization's prophetic timeline.
